I enjoyed the fire. I actually couldn't put it down, I'm disappointed that it is the last one in the series, because I feel Mr. Patterson could do a lot more with it if he wanted to. But I enjoyed the series all the same, and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good fantasy story.

Patterson has really got to stop having co-authors. They are tarnishing his name and reputation. This book was horrible. All over the place. If you Wiki Patterson`s bibliography you will discover that the only books solely written by him without a co-author are the Alex Cross series and the Maximum Ride Series and even those have one or two co-authored. There is a great deal of controversy regarding how he publishes. No author can produce 6-8 releases a year thus you know that the co-author did the majority of the work. If anything Patterson likely acted as editor only if he even did that. I am one reader, after reading this volume, that has given up on this author completely.
